Maria’s presence at the birth of our third child was that of a close friend, supportive and unassuming, perfectly catching the smallest details and the big moment for us. I wish she had been at all my births. The photos continue to garner an emotional response from me every time I view them.

Maria did my birth and newborn photos. I am so impressed with her talent. Her very kind energy and calm presence made it seem like she wasn’t even in the room. I’m in awe of what she captured for us. And I still put my son to sleep the way she did at our newborn shoot. She is the best hands down.

Our studio session with Maria was such a wonderful experience! All the communication leading up to the session was very clear and we felt like we were well prepared. Maria's got a real gift for interacting with newborns - swaddling, shushing, posing, reading the cues. We felt so comfortable in the home studio - there were comfy spaces where we could breastfeed and change our baby. Maria’s photos from our labor journey are incredible. They are so authentic and capture every moment- the hard, the easy, the joyful, the exhaustion.
Maria herself was awesome. She communicated well, was prompt in responses and I never was worried she would miss an important moment.
I was nervous it might feel intrusive having someone in the delivery room, but it never felt that way. My husband and I were still able to have private moments —which Maria subtly captured, and felt like we had solid family time once our little one arrived.
The photos are STUNNING. She was wonderful and patient with our newborn and our toddler while getting the 1-week old photos.
